The Appalachian Tails team recently got together "off site" for an evening of fun, food & drink and...pumpkin carving!
"One of the things I'm most proud of is that we have a team that are not only talented and hard-working at our store, but that are also just great people who have fun together too", explained Bryan as he reflected on the evening.
It started off with an incredible spread of food, including Wings, Sandwiches, Homemade potato salad, veggie platter, nachos and more! Special thanks to Carol, who worked hard putting all the food (and many other supplies) together for the group.
After being entertained by watching the dogs play in the yard, Mike and Bryan got a great fire pit going. Special thanks to Kelly and Sam for bringing us extra "fuel".
Then, it was time for the "gutting" to begin.
Jon Ann brought some great templates with her, which helped create some cool carvings. But just so everyone knows, Sean's bubbles was an original idea :)
Before we knew it, we had a bunch of really cool jack-o-lanterns carved! Afterward, the group sat around the fire and just had a good time.
The team at Appalachian Tails is a great group of people...and we strive to create an atmosphere where we can all have challenging, successful careers...interesting work...and also have a great time together along the way!
Special thanks to Stephanie also for all her work in getting ready for the get-together. The house and the yard looked great, Thanks Stephanie!
We missed two of our wonderful team members...but no worries, we have lots of future fun planned too!
